Get to know DaVita

My husband has been on dialysis for several years. Due to his illness, the functioning of our entire family had to change. We had to become an even more harmonious team to "wrap our heads around it," as the young people say. It's great to get that feeling of playing on the same team with the medical staff at DaVita. Thanks to them, he can feel good and become involved in everything that goes on at home. That's just priceless!

Complete and reliable information is very important to me in my treatment. I like to know exactly what is happening to me and what my treatment should be like. At DaVita, I can fully count on that. My attending physician and the entire medical team answer all my questions. This helps me manage my disease a lot better.

My dad needs renal replacement therapy. One of my friends, a doctor, told me that one hemodialysis was a burden to the human body comparable to a marathon. Most patients require dialysis treatment 3 times a week. So does my dad. In order for him to recover from them as fully as possible, it takes not only the perfect execution of the entire procedure, but also a lot of simple human kindness and care. He's getting that kind of care from DaVita, for which I am very grateful to their team!

I went through a transplant that changed my life. Before it happened, however, I was treated at DaVita. I became very close with both the team and the patients. I have received so much devotion and good from them... They are very committed to their work. I will always be grateful to them for that. And although I don’t miss dialysis, I do miss them very much!
